We bought a van that was in the "process" of being restored.  Most of it's internals had been removed, the "mingin" kitchen was still there, but was quickly removed, as was everything else, so we started from scratch.  Below are some pics of our progress.  It is almost fully complete, we leave for our first big trip on June 10, by then it'll be done, our last addition is the rollout awning, and that's not too far away.

Most bunk vans we looked at had the bunks at the front or side of the van.  We didn't like that layout.  We decided it would be less disturbing for the kids if their beds were at the rear of the van.

The cooking facilities inside the van are all electric, so for when we don't have a powered site or when I dont want to cook inside [which will probably be most of the time] Al installed a roll out gas cooker.
